The Faculty of Social Science is deeply committed to supporting the holistic development and well-being of its student body, ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed both academically and personally. These services begin with comprehensive Academic Advising and Mentorship, which is compulsory, particularly for all incoming Level I students.

 Faculty members are assigned to provide essential guidance on programme structure, academic requirements, and career pathways. Students should initiate contact at the Faculty Tutor’s Office (FOSS Building, Office A5.13) for academic guidance.

For personal and health-related matters, Counselling and Health & Wellness Services are provided through the Student Welfare and Counselling Unit (SWCU), centrally located at the Student Affairs Building on the Kwaluseni Campus. Students are also granted full access to core academic resources, including Library Services for physical and electronic research materials, located at the UNESWA Main Library, and ICT Services for network, email, and e-learning platform support, accessible via the ICT Service Desk (often located on the ground floor of the Library Building). Furthermore, the Faculty encourages active participation in co-curricular life through recognized Student Societies, such as discipline-based clubs, which can be organized through the respective Departmental Offices.
